Niche Marketing for Beginners
Well, upon the request of our local niche support group users, and after several hours of messing around with code, I have the local niche support forum up and running!
You will need to register to use this, and please let me know if you encounter any bugs in the system anywhere.
One of the issues we have when building a niche site is how do you make it look “for real”? You know, you want it to look somewhat legit and not spammy. So how do you do that?
Add some images to it! Visual cues and images related to that topic of your niche site can really help improve your site. It will also help to keep your visitors on site a little longer, thereby helping to maybe draw them into clicking an ad or affiliate link of yours.
So, where do you find images to use? Here are a few of my favorite spots to get them.
If you are wondering what happened to BloggingZoom and BloggerUnleashed, it seems that someone has hacked it and taken down the server! Don’t worry though, as Vic and Court are working hard to get it back up.
And as I remember, Vic seems to have a certain passion for not letting people mess with him, so this will get real interesting to see what happens to the “hackers” that have taken down BZ and BU.

First, thanks to everyone that sent emails and left comments about my daughter. We are home now, but she is still on oxygen and other stuff to help clear up the pneumonia that she has. I will post an update later today about her condition on her site.
Secondly, I have updated the Local Niche Support Group page with some more entries for the local niche sites. Take a look, there are some great sites coming along.
What method would you all like to keep in touch? Would a forum here work? Password protected page? Let me know some ideas about how to improve the local niche support group.
Let me know some ideas, and for those that I promised I would help with things, give me a few days, I haven’t forgotten, but just been a little busy and away from the computer. I will try and send you an email, and will review your sites with suggestions.
Ok, just a quick request. My daughter, Natalie was flown to the local children’s hospital this morning (Saturday) as she was unresponsive.
I could use prayers for her to help the doctors determine what is going on with her as she is in the ICU right now.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have also received several more entries for the Local Niche Support page and will get them up as soon as I have some time, hopefully in the next couple of days.
