I was checking my niche sites tonight and noticed a strange issue with Google. If you are buying or have a pre-owned domain name, you really should check this out as it can help get your site indexed quicker with Google. The problem lies in the fact that the previous owner may have used Google Analytics or Google Webmaster tools for the site. Having two or more “site owners” will cause a problem with Google.

Ok, so I have been playing around with Bookmarking Demon for the past few days and I can say that it is simply amazing! However, one critical point that I need to pass along is vital to ensuring that your Bookmarking Demon experience is a pleasant one.

Why StumbleUpon is bad for your Niche Site

Have you wondered why your CTR is so low on your niche sites after you submit it to the social bookmarking sites? If you are submitting to StumbleUpon, let me tell you why I think it is causing problems with your Adsense CTR. I have tried SU a couple of times with my niche sites, and it suddenly dawned on me what was happening.

Stop Screwing Your Fellow Niche Marketers

Did that get your attention? Good. I’m gonna rant here for a short little post about a big pet peeve that I have, so bear with me.
Since beginning to use affiliate ads on my sites, one of the biggest problems that I have faced is what to do with affiliate links. You know, you put a product on your site that is an affiliate product that you are promoting. Do you cloak the link with Javascript? Do you redirect the link to a subdomain and forward it to the landing page for the affiliate?

Bookmarking Demon First Impressions

There has been a lot of talk about Bookmarking Demon lately on my recommended blogs that you should read. Vic at Blogger Unleashed has ranted and raved about the power of it, Grizz has talked about it and there has been other comments left about the power of Bookmarking Demon.
